			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The regular monthly meeting of the Frackville Area Historical Society will be held on Thursday September 25th at society headquarters East Oak Street in town.  The final plans will be worked out for the town wide church tour event planned for Sunday, November 2nd from 2-6.  Light refreshments will be served follow ing the event at the Frackville Boro Bldg. Center &amp; Oak Streets.  The public is welcomed and invited to join with our group to make this a success.  Please call with any questions to Lois Zemansky 874-1009  or Diane Berkheiser 874-1579. </p>

All of the churches in the borough have been sent letters asking for their participation. The FAHS seeks to include ALL the churches of the community. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The regular meeting of the Frackville area Historical Society will take place on Thursday, August 28th at the society headquarters - 30 East oak St. Frackville at 6:30 P.M. A video of the new &#8216;town clock&#8217; at the corner of Center &amp; Oak Street will be shown. The video was a gift to the group by Mr. Mike Martin on behalf of the Cruise Committee who worked very hard for the clock&#8217;s purchase &amp; placement. Other agenda items will include discussion on the purchase of Lorraine Stanton&#8217;s vast collection of the town and the church tour planned for November 2nd. New members and guests are always welcomed and encourged to come. Local items are collected to add to the historical data on the Frackville Area and are gratefully accepted. Please come join with us for a &#8216;historical&#8217; evening&#8230;.any questions, suggestions , please call 874-1579.</p>
